Who is Amin
Amin Alavi is originally from Afghanistan and has a strong background in art. He completed his art education at the Art School in Iran and has been teaching art since the year 2000.
Since 2006, he has taught children, teenagers, and adults in art, both through private lessons and in collaboration with public and private art schools in Tehran and is passionate about conveying the world of art to people of all ages.
He have also had several art exhibitions internationally both individually and in collaboration with other artists. His exhibitions have been shown in several cities in Norway, and the largest project was the exhibition "Barn på flukt" in collaboration with Hammerfest Art Association and Alta Art Association.
He works with various art forms such as drawing, painting, and calligraphy, but is especially known for his hyper-realistic portraits. His works stand out for their level of detail and are primarily executed in black and white using pencil and ballpoint pen.
Technique
Amin has a higher education in art and crafts from the University of Iran (2004) and have also specialized in Persian calligraphy through Anjoman Khoshnevisan in Iran (2007).
His artistic practice focuses on realism and hyperrealism, with particular emphasis on anatomy and portraiture. He primarily work with charcoal and create detailed black-and-white drawings by following a step-by-step process from start to finish.
Amin’s art is a combination of technical precision, emotional depth, and cultural heritage. He strives to convey emotions and stories through his drawings and calligraphy, and is always seeking new ways to develop his artistic expression.
